Is there a way to start off in the main forum website with particular subforums minimized? If so, is there a way for the cookie to 'memorize' your settings?? Or am I dreaming?

That code is already part of the base code.

Oops, sorry about that. I knew I had the feature, I just couldn't remember whether it was in the code or something I had added along the line.

Sorry what I meant to ask is:
Is there a way that I, as an admin, can set the default minimized forums for new arrivals
Thanks

The code in this topic will hide all categories by default; should be easy enough to tweak to allow you to hide individual categories.
