Sure. Use the [i m g] [/ i m g] tags. Without the spaces of course.
For example:
[i m g] http://www.mysite.com/picture.gif [/ i m g]
will put "picture.gif" in your post.
Or you can click the  icon when you are posting, and it will put the tags in for you.

yes, use the [ img ] [ /img ] tags and insert the url to the picture between them (and remove the extra spaces I inserted to stop the tags from being decoded).
this: [ img ] h t t p : / / forum.snitz.com/forum/logo_powered_by.gif [ /img] without the extra spaces produces:

That is strange, those pictures should show, it is possible that the site doesn't allow them to be linked from other sites.

Yeah, that's probably it. You would just have to put the link to the picture in the post and let the users click on it to see the pic.
But I do notice that once they look at the pic, the next time the browser will load it from the cache.
