Hello everyone. After meddling with this topic for quite some time, I got the point... let the experts handle it.

I’m a mediocre ASP programmer, so please style your tips and recommendations for idiots.

If you wish to program the solutions yourself, please consider either doing it as a volunteer (we’ll credit you on the website) or for a modest fee; we’re a volunteering organization with very little funds to spare.

Here’s the situation: Top Synergy, a non-profit group let’s everyone analyze their relationships. A sample report can be viewed here: http://www.topsynergy.com/reports/ra.asp?Key=8A58=158BD8A58=158BE17

Now, we would like to take this report two steps further.

Step 1:

To publish on the relationships report (above) another piece of information called RQ (Relationship Quotient) in a graphical presentation. A static example can be seen here: http://www.topsynergy.com/images/reports/Show_Sample.gif

The rendering procedure should get four parameters: Score (77), Names (Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie), Source Image File (there are different images to different types of relationships and we also want to enable later on different image sizes), and text color for the names (to insure nice contrast with different backgrounds for different types of relationships).

There’re thousands of daily requests, so obviously we cannot save those images but just channel them to the browser.

Step 2:

We would like to motivate visitors to display their RQ images (with names and score) on their websites, forums, blogs, etc. For that, we would like to employ the best technique available in order to achieve two goals: 1. Gain search engine popularity by increasing number of links to us; 2. Encourage visitors to other websites to visit Top Synergy by clicking the image.

Such technique is employed, for example by Alexa. See example at: http://www.alexa.com/site/site_stats/signup?site_url=topsynergy.com/+++++&range=6m&widget=g&submitted=true&mode=graph

So how do we go about it all?

Many thanks,
Shlomo Tommer

Cheers ya' all,
shlomot
