I am able to send e-mail from the forum to other people with the website email account. For example if the user has an e-mail that is xxxxx@ndrlma.com the e-mail will send. If the user has an e-mail that is xxxxx@yahoo.com it will not send. Dose any one have any idea why this is doing this. www.ndrlma.com/forum
I have tried all the different E-mail Component and all are the same. Thanks for all the help.

I don't have the answer off hand, but I do know that this has come up several times in the past.... have you done a search? Sometimes if you don't find what you are looking for in the first pass, check the "search archives" checkbox and that will search the archived posts.

it is most probably to do with the inability to relay, as AnonJr said, try searching the archives since you said you hadn't

Another possibility is that you may need to set the e-mail server address to localhost in your admin options rather than using something like mail.domain.tld.

Search is your friend

Well I have talked to the host provider and that was hopeless. I was told that all that could be used was mail.ndrlma.com. I have tried putting localhost in the server line and get the same thing will not email to other accounts.

Just checking - are you certain the mail doesn't send, or could it be that it's not getting recieved (spam filter problems, etc)?

Just worth eliminating the easy ones first!

It is not sending I have checked the spam folder. Today I received 2 of the email but it took 4 days to get it. Any ideas would be great. Thanks so much. The plus is that now it is sending some of the mail.

eek - mind you email was never meant to be synchronous so if some step on the chain is adding 2 days, it may be out of your control?

Nasty :(

It is working now. I had changed the password and forgot to change it in the forum. Thanks for all the help.
