I have site integration installed and I have everything looking like it needs to for this customer except I put a style on the inc_site_left to make the links look the way I would like for them.

Now inc_header.asp has taken on those attributes I only want the links on my inc_site_left.asp to have those attributes?? Not really sure how to seperate the two of them?

THanks

Give the links in inc_site_left.asp their own style class, different from that of the links in inc_header.asp.

Thanks Shaggy I actual only defined the style class in the inc_site_left.asp. I did not touch the inc_header.asp thats why is confused me maybe I should just give the links in inc_header there own class? I am guessing this will solve the problem. But I was more curios as to why this happend.

THanks Shaggy as always

Shaggy Just wondering if you ever saw anything that would be causing this?

After defining styles for the style20 and style21 classes, you're redefining the styles for the pseudoclasses of your anchor tags which overwrites the styles in those classes.

So how do I set it up in inc_site_left.asp so that it is only define there and no where else? I am guessing I could just do some html in each link to define each link seperately but not sure if that would work or if there is a better way?

Delete the style definitions for the anchor tag (leaving style20 and style21) from your stylesheet (not the Snitz stylesheet found in inc_header.asp).

Ok I think I understand but I want to clarify just cause this is something I have not done before. I need to delete the style definitiosn in the inc_header that refer to style20 and style21?

No, just the styles for the anchor tag immediately below those.

Believe it or not, everybody here was learning at some stage (and we all still are), so we know what it's like

So I guess not coming along as fast as thought.

this is where i think you are talking about in inc_header.asp
"<style type=""text/css"">" & vbNewLine & _
"<!--" & vbNewLine & _
"a:link {color:" & strLinkColor & ";text-decoration:" & strLinkTextDecoration & "}" & vbNewLine & _
"a:visited {color:" & strVisitedLinkColor & ";text-decoration:" & strVisitedTextDecoration & "}" & vbNewLine & _
"a:hover {color:" & strHoverFontColor & ";text-decoration:" & strHoverTextDecoration & "}" & vbNewLine & _
"a:active {color:" & strActiveLinkColor & ";text-decoration:" & strActiveTextDecoration & "}" & vbNewLine & _
".spnMessageText a:link {color:" & strForumLinkColor & ";text-decoration:" & strForumLinkTextDecoration & "}" & vbNewLine & _
".spnMessageText a:visited {color:" & strForumVisitedLinkColor & ";text-decoration:" & strForumVisitedTextDecoration & "}" & vbNewLine & _
".spnMessageText a:hover {color:" & strForumHoverFontColor & ";text-decoration:" & strForumHoverTextDecoration & "}" & vbNewLine & _
".spnMessageText a:active {color:" & strForumActiveLinkColor & ";text-decoration:" & strForumActiveTextDecoration & "}" & vbNewLine & _
".spnSearchHighlight {background-color:" & strSearchHiLiteColor & "}" & vbNewLine & _
"input.radio {background:" & strPopUpTableColor & ";color:#000000}" & vbNewLine & _
"-->" & vbNewLine & _
"</style>" & vbNewLine & _

I took out the a in it but not really sure where those anchors are actually and this is the only reference I can find to the style at all there is no style20 or syle21 in the inc_header file??

Thanks again

Nope, that was the Snitz stylesheet in inc_header.asp I was referring to - that needs to stay intact. It's your own stylesheet, which, I'm guessing, is in inc_site_left.asp that you need to remove the definitions from.
