Questions?????

I am hosted by Godaddy (using linux). they support ASP and MsSQL. I down loaded Snitz Fourm V3.4. I published forum to web site by ftp. I use frontpage2002. Should SF V 3.4 have come with an index page? What do I need to do to get Fourm to work?
Thanks
David

I think you might be referring to the default.asp page for the forum since there is no 'index.asp' page. Do you have your config file set up with the correct path to your database and have you been able to run the setup.asp file successfully? If you've done both of those things, what happens when you try to display your default.asp page?

You need to read the instructions in the readme.html file carefully, and do what it says. You can't just upload the files and get a working forum.

If you're on Godaddy, to use Snitz a Windows server would be a better option...

Rui speaks the truth. (obviously )

I upgraded to a virtual dedicated server with GD once (only Linux available at the time) because they (salesperson) were adamant that it would work. Spent hours on the phone only to ultimately find out it would not. It was a horrible adventure.

I had lots of problems with them even on a Windows box. I've long left them.
