When upgrading to the latest version of Snitz Forums, can I share the database for testing?

My idea is to upload a separate folder with the upgrade, connect to the existing database and test to see which mod's may need to be ported?

Or will it corrupt the data? I am currently running 3.4.05 - planning to move up to 06

thanks

Paul

I wouldn't recommend it as there may be problems running a v3.4.05 forum after updating the database for v3.4.06, better to simply take a backup copy of your db and run your tests on that.
