Hi

I'm sure there will be loads of stuff on this subject but what i am looking for is a quick and simple guide to which files i need to go into to make changes to the colors and general layout of the forum.

I am certain there will be a few key files that i need to be aware of.

Thanks

Well, unfortunately there really aren't a few specific files to edit if you want to change the look and feel of your site. The obvious thing to do is edit the values in the Font/Table Color Code Configuration in the Admin Section. Other than that, you can install the Site Integration MOD. Lastly, you could opt to edit (nearly) every file in the install zip to get the look you want. The last option is, obviously, the one you want to try as a last resort unless you have a lot of spare time.

All colours, etc. can be changed in the admin options. To modify the basic layout of your forum, you'll need to tweak inc_header.asp and inc_footer.asp. If you have the knowledge, you can customise things pretty well just using those two files but, if you don't, then I'd recommend the site integration mod if you want to make any more complex changes.
