Hi guys not sure if this is from your code or Server but since I upgraded to the new 3.4.06 I've been getting a couple of errors I have NO mods installed and NO editing other then what your techs have provided.

ERROR MESSAGE

Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0240'

Script Engine Exception

/Forum/default.asp

A ScriptEngine threw exception 'C0000005' in 'IActiveScriptParse::ParseScriptText()' from 'CActiveScriptEngine::AddScriptlet()'.

The following page seems to suggest it's a permissions problem with the IUSER_Machinename account: http://classicasp.aspfaq.com/general/how-do-i-solve-event-id-5-errors.html

How did you do the upgrade? Did you overwrite your existing files and ran the setup.asp file?
Do you know by any chance what version MDAC is installed on the server? Probably not.
What connection string are you using?

You got this after you tried to post? But it is saying the error is on default.asp.

Maybe your host made some changes on your server? It everything was working ok for the past few days, then this error just came up, sounds like something changed on the server.

Run the error by your host, let them know everything was ok until now and it seems to be a permission issue.

Sounds very much like a server problem. You didn't mention what connection string you are using?

Ok looks to me the Database connection is not closing so I would say its code related. Since I installed your newer version I now get this error again I have NO mods installed at all..

Could you please try and see what the problem is :)

Still a server problem. You need to contact your host.
