If someone could point me in the right direction; I would like to add the forum as a link on a site where users have already registered. They could click on the forums link and already be recognized and operate based on their registration in the original database. Also, it would be great if a moderator in the tech support forum were notified by email whenever anyone posts there. Is this all possible?
Notification of posts made is possible through subscriptions. You need to enable them and configure each category and forum to use them.
Regarding the first part, that may be a bit tricky. You would need to change the part of Snitz that handles the member's table, and that can be quite some work. The difficulty will also depend on the database you're using.
