Is there any easy way to change the menue language from English to, let's say German ?

You want to translate all the forum interface language or just the menu?

Actually my thought was to translate all of it (interface and menue). But it would help already if just the menue could be translated.

There's no easy way to do that, other than editing each forum file and translating the english strings to german. Not sure about what you'd include in the menu...

There is a modded version that already supports several languages, if you are interested.

Rolf, http://www.forums2001.ca/forum/default.asp gives you a German heavily modded version, I have used the Swedish one and it works great.
