Hi,
THis may be in the wrong forum, if so accept my apologies

I've got a copy my sites forum on my local machine in order to test and setup a couple of mods.

I want to add the poll mod, I understand what I need to do BUT when I click the "Mod Setup" link I get an error as follows: -

There has been a problem!

Only the Forum Admin can access this page

This happens if I try to use either of the Mod setup links.

I don't really understand why I get this message... I am the administrator

Is there something else I need to do in order to access this functionality?

TIA

JaB

in config.asp you will need to set the superadmin ID to be the same as your admin account

cool I saw that VAR but didn't want to mess with it

So I set that to be my user id ? At the moment it's set to 1, and I guess that would be the chap who originally installed the forum (Long gone ).
Is there a quick and easy way to establish my user ID ? or do I simply need to delve into the DB (It's an Access DB BTW)

thanks for the help so far

View your profile from the member's page and the number at the end is your ID. Set the variable to that ID and you will be able to add mods.
