Ok here it is when accessing my database it provides me this error

.....

Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80004005'

Operation must use an updateable query.

/forums/inc_functions.asp, line 644

.....

My DB path which I know is true is

.....

strConnString = "Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=c:\inetpub\wwwroot\hazardous\htdocs\evil\forums\rehlforumdb\reforumsdb.mdb;" '## MS Access 2000

.....

Please could some body help me out and explain in plain understandable english

I just found the answer by searching the forums and I'm going to get the permisions changed now

I hate the fool that doesn't search first!

How did you get the permissions changed on NT server,I need you help for more details!!!

If your host provided you with a control panel to your site, you can do it there, otherwise, you need to contact your host and have them do it for you...

I asked host to change the permissions (select read,write permissions )
BUT I got the same errors,
and I have tested *.mdb(access97), *.mdb(access2000).
I really don`t know how to do it!
Only I can do is to use SQL server database
instead of access!!!!
