                      | Finally got round to doing an ASP based spellchecker instead of one that used a java Class. I found the code on ASP today a while back, but have only just looked at it.
It uses a seperate access db to store the dictionary, which would be fairly easy to import into SQL and use the forum connstr to access it. i would not advise importing it into your forum DB if you currently use access, it will increase it's size by between 2 and 4 MB depending whether you are using 97 or 2000.

Having said that it is fairly simple to install, just follow the instructions in the readme.

                      | Thanks this is great. I have been waiting for this, because I really don't like the java one.
I have successfully loaded this, except, when I click the spellcheck window, it opens the window, but and underlines the word(s) it find problems with, but there is no hyperlink. It does nothing in the pop window.

 Thanks
 Eddie

                      | I found that when checking any large-ish messages it completely locked all other asp usage on my dev system and was wondering if it was just me. It's very possible - I abuse that machine terribly.

                      | A hundred words or so. Nothing huge. As I said, it could be something here but I wanted to make sure it's only here before I try it on the server.
