I tried it with Firefox and Netscape and it was OK, however the page did not look good because my scripts for my buttons didn´t do the job but that is another issue - do not be surprised if I come back with it. :) |

IE6 uptodate. The mouse over lense worked the very first time I tried it. I logged in, read the forums, replied (but erased it) and basically tried everything.
After that, the front portal mouse-over-lense stopped working. The paragraph text next to the lense will highlight on mouse over, but no preview window.

P, it is only when the mouse is over a small cell containing the magnifying lense that the preview window can show up. The text to the right of the lense is in another cell and works like a standard pop-up window so that part works for you as it should.
Now I have no idea (aaa, that doesn´t mean much ..) of what could explain this very strange behavior: you did see it the first time you visited my site, so did Marcel and AnonJr can still see it, I can see it with IE, Nescape and Firefox but you cannot see it with the same browser as you used the first time ???????? (P, I really appreciate all the time you put into this issue but I am totally stuck :D) |

Okay. . .I tried it again. . .this time the behavior was very strange. The preview window popup on and off in a flash. . .I had to hold the cursor over just one pixel to make it stay on. . .but that changed, within a few minutes the mouse-over area was about 10 x 10 pixels and the preview window would stay on.
Now, when the mouse-over hit the Vattenfalls magnifying lense, the preview window would open okay ONLY IF the page was scrolled down far enough to permit it open without touching the bar-graph to the right. If I didn't scroll down far enough, the preview window will open to partially cover the bar graph in the right column. That's when the preview window would flash on/off continuously. I could take my hand off the mouse and the preview window just keeps flashing on/off/on/off. Sorry to be so much trouble. . .

I get the same behavior when there is not enough space for the pop-up window. I will try to dynamically set the size (but how do I know how much space there is to use?). I will discuss the issue with softcomplex support. P, your comments prevent me and others from having trouble with the page so keep on giving me "much trouble.." |
