I'd like my moderators to be able to edit topics within their individual forums, but I don't want them to be able to change the forum properties.

Is there a way to specify exactly what a moderator can and can not do?

What do the different mLev values in the source code stand for?

Thanks!
Scott

No, what a moderator does is determined by the code, only. You can decide whether he can move posts other than his own, but that's basically it.

Mlev: http://forum.snitz.com/forum/topic.asp?ARCHIVE=true&TOPIC_ID=40399&SearchTerms=mlev

Hi ruirib,

Yep, after I posted I figured out that mlev=4 was the admin, so if I want to limit powers I have to go into the code and put some if (mlev=4) then statements in to restrict some things to the admin rather than the moderators.

Thanks for your help!
Scott
