Where can I find D3mons CSS Mod? I heard it is the best one, but I cannot locate it. Is this the Mod everyone is using for CSS? Thanks. |

I could be mistaken on this, but if you are referring to the CSS'd version of Snitz made by D3mon, I think it was based on an older version of the forum. I'm currently using a CSS'd version of Snitz that is based on the 3.4.05 version - Speed Ball II (or SBII). You should be able to locate that here in the forums.
There have been a few attempts at a Speed Ball III but to my knowledge neither of them have been finished.
If you are looking for a version of Snitz that is using CSS, I'd recommend the SBII version. |

I found a backup of my Speedball 3 yesterday, and might make it live soon.
Demo will be up for testing soon. |

First, make a backup.
If you have not added any MODs you can replace the existing pages and re-run setup.asp - but not before making a backup. This will ask you if you want to upgrade (which you are going to want to do anyway. after you backup.)
Oh, and make a backup first! |

Excellent! It seems to have worked, thanks. One more thing. My site is done in CSS, the content is in the middle and colored borderes are to the left and right (I am sure you have seen this CSS design before). How do I integrate the forum into this design? Where do I put the CSS code? |

There should have been a file called "snitz.css" in the SBII download. That has all the forum styles in it. There's a MOD Guide floating around here somewhere that has what each definition is referring to. You might want to find that... |

I cannot find that MOD guide. I think that the css file that is included only controls the forum colors etc. I think I may need to have it reference a seperate css file to bring in my site design. |

The MOD guide is here: http://www.buildyourown.org.uk/snitz/speedball/speedball2_mod_guide.htm
Silly me forgot that D3mon created SB2... My apologies if he ever reads this.
As for the rest, that CSS file does indeed primarily control the forum colors etc. - but you can add to it. It might even be worth it to find a way to merge the two together and have everything reference the same CSS file.
As always, make backups first. |
