I get this error when I try to enter a new member. My forum is dead!

JET is the database engine that powers Access databases.
Usually the error you mention is related to the database not having the proper permissions. Was this forum working before? Also, if it was, have you or your host made any changes? |

Thanks for your reply, but I still cant get it. I have search for the problem, and find the answer: "Just change the rights on the database file" and the reply: "Yeah, thanks now its working, jubiiii!"
Thats great, but my problem is, that I do not know what it means? Where can I find the so called "database file" and how can I change the rights?
Its not me who put up the snitz-forum years ago on my server, so I starts from zero Please forgive me.
It was working fine until some months ago, where the error came. Dont know if the host made any changes.

The database connection is defined in config.asp, if you're using an Access db you can determine the path to the .mdb file by inspecting config.asp.
PS - don't edit anything in config.asp unless you are comfortable with doing so.
