I have SnitzForums 2000 version 3.4.05 running on www.readyhosting.com's server Windows 2002. They just recently upgraded for Windows 2003 server. With that I'm experiencing an error while trying to approve new pending members. Message says:

Server object error 'ASP 0177 : 800401f3'

Server.CreateObject Failed

/forums/inc_mail.asp, line 97

800401f3

Can we tweak the script, so the forum can run smoothly?

You will need to change the email component in use. CDOSYS should be one of the available choices and it will work.

Admin Options-> Email Server Configuration. After that it's pretty simple, just pick CDOSYS from the dropdown. Don't know whether the email server remains the same, but you can try just changing the component and see if it works.
