When following the new installation instructions, immediately after uploading the files, we're asked to:

"Open http://<yourservername>/<forumdirectoryname>/setup.asp in your browser. Follow the instructions to create the forum tables in your database."

But at this URL, it's simply the config script -- no mystery there, since that's what the file consisted of before it was uploaded. There are no further instructions at this point in creating or setting the tables. Of course I can set the tables through the MySQL user panel, but how? There are just so many variables. Where are the instructions specified in the Snitz materials?

I'm amazed that there's not more info on this forum about this. Apparently only a few of us have this hurdle.

Sounds like you might not have ASP running on your server. The config script sets up the tables for you and lets you set up the Admin password and all that. If all you are seeing is the script itself, then none of it will run.

Check with your host and make sure you can run ASP and that it is enabled.
