Hi

Just as background, we've had some problems with our server going down a lot over the past few weeks and are still tracing the problem. 2 very popular forums have been effected and I received this email from a forum user:

"For some strange reason, when trying to edit my own profile, I somehow managed to change the password on yours (Username: cj)
I have simply changed it to "clare" and thought I'd better advise you so you can login and change it back to whatever you had it set to.
This happened whilst the forum seemed a bit out of sorts with itself."

The cj account he refers to had admin rights. I have now deleted the account

I also had this from a mod from my second forum:
"I just went to the forum from a new computer, and by default was logged on as you?"

Again there was a cj account with admin rights on this forum that has now been deleted.

Can anyone shed any light on this? Is someone somehow hacking the forums? Or is the server going down resulting in some weird default behaviour?

Note cj is/was not the main admin account.

Many thanks for any help
Clare

Something is definitely out of order, but it's hard to know what is happening without having a look.
