I need someone experienced with old-school Snitz to fix a (v3.4.5) Snitz install that cannot be upgraded. The registation process needs to allow admins only to manually enter users as described here:

It has been a while since I went back and checked, but it is my understanding that at this point, no users are being added at all.
Ruirib was very kindly going to sort me out but we've just been unable to connect properly due to scheduling conflicts, a problem now resolved with FTP access, and the fact that he's a really busy guy.
