I have a question though. I noticed you mention a different mod in the readme for getting private forums also. I played with yours a little (I'm far from an asp expert, but I am adventerous sometimes ), and found that if I comment out line 83, which is...
strSql = strSql & " WHERE (F.F_PRIVATEFORUMS = 0 OR F.F_PRIVATEFORUMS = 4) "
it seems to work flawlessly and pull in all private forums. Is there any downfall to doing this that I may have overlooked? If there isn't, I thought you might want to add it to the readme for the not-so-experienced coders. (like me)
It works great so far for our mods, I renamed a copy of the file to an unguessable name so they can use it instead of subscriptions to get all the posts, including private forums.
Bobby, if I'm not mistaking, the PRIVATEFORUMS = 4 line is used for 'password protected forums', so if you uncomment that part, topics from passwordprotected forums will be visible in the RSS feeds too.
FYI, here are the possible values for the F_PRIVATEFORUMS field:
0 - All Visitors
1 - Allowed Member List
2 - Password Protected
3 - Allowed Member List & Password Protected
4 - Members Only
5 - Members Only (Hidden)
6 - Allowed Member List (Hidden)
7 - Members Only & Password Protected
8 - NT Global Group (Hidden)
9 - NT Global Group
Okay, so I am mistaking. In other words ; by commenting out that line, all topics from hidden forums or from password protected forums will be visible.
OK, since I don't have any password protected forums, I didn't notice the problem. So I can continue to use it that way as long as I don't use password protected forums.
