I have been kinda put in the position of being a moderator/admin of a discussion board at work. I don't know much about snitz and am to become the "expert" so to speak. We have our secure site & the discussion board hosted by a 3rd party, who upgraded us to the new version of snitz.
I am having a few problems that I can't seem to find a solution to, I have searched here (may not have searched for the right key words but I tried) and I have looked all through the admin tools.
The issues that I am having are:
1. When a post is made to a moderated topic the moderator is not notified of the post and therefore doesn't know it exists unless they happen to stumble upon it.
2. The new posts don't seem to turn to old posts once they are read. I have read each post and I still have a lot of purple folders only there is nothing new. The old version would turn it to the yellow (old) folder after a post was read.
3. Under active topics the the box at upper left that reads "last post since" and has a date- mine has the date of 12/30/1899. Sorry to say that I wasn't even born then!! If you select one of the other choices (ie. yesterday) it works. but as is when ever you click active topics it shows everything since the forums inception.
Not sure if my explanation of things makes much sense and I am not sure how much is on my end or our hosts end.
Any advice/suggestions would be helpful.
