| On the contains new post icon, is there a way to change it so when a user looks at a new post, it doesnt show up as new anymore? From what i've noticed, right now it shows new posts since the last time they were loged on, and once they read it, it will still say its a new post. Would like to change it to where it doesnt say it's new anymore after they click on it. |

If a user goes to the http://(forum address)/active.asp page, they can click on the icon on the left hand side (just after the tree icons) at the top of the listed messages and have them marked as read and the icons will not show up as unread. Is that what you mean?

| yes, once they have clicked on a forum and read the new replys, i want the icon to change from new post to old post icon, without having to log out and log in. |

| You can use active.asp, but apart from that it doesn't work like other forums like SMF do. |
