I have figured out how to use the NT Authentication and a custom LDAP query system as the base for my user authentication. I am able to pull the user's email account from the LDAP server. So I am curious...
When a new use hits the forum using NT Authentication, I assume his/her name is looked for in the MEMBER tabble and if not found, a value entered and assigned and the user continues on... The values written - at least for me are the user name. Where is this routine at? I would like to add a session varible to the write routine so when a new NT user is added to the MEMBER table I can add his/her email account as well.

Since I send to HuwR a donation of $200 on December 22, 2006
this guy HuwR has never stop to pick on every thing I post on the Snitz Forum.
I have even received from HuwR and ruirib an e-mail threatening to ban me from Snitz Forum :

| OK, got it to work. I simply turned off a lot of the register.asp routines and looked for a valid email, and if not found sent the user to policy.asp and then pop_profile.asp while altering the email field to a "locked" field and pre-populating it with the known email address. |
