I've followed the readme and when i try to access the forum i'm being served the asp source... I'm using IIS5 and my other asp based pages are working...
Make sure the web folder with the forum pages allows script execute. To check, open MMC and navigate to the folder with the pages, right-click, properties, and look at the execute permissions. You might take a look at the NT permissions also just in case.
