I'm just taken over the forums for my site and I see when I log into the Admin screens, that there are alway members waiting for approval. How do I configure the Admin to have members automatically approved without me getting invloved?
mine is switched off but i still sometimes have to approve members ...i dont know why cos it will accept one then wait to approve another ..i only know of it if members mail me or if i get an email i dont understand and i go into admin options then i see member approval pending

i seem to be getting this also. weird how its only some, and not all. ??
btw, this is on a clean install with the referer mod, (using provided file)
Note that there is a difference between approving members and members activating their accounts. You will have to do the former if you have Resrict Registration turned on and members will need to do the latter if you have E-mail Validation turned on. It may look like only some members are awaiting activation as most will register and activate their accounts before you've spotted them in admin options.
