We've just got to the 200 member mark and had over 1000 posts: http://emini.deltat1.com/forum/
The forum software has worked very well and has been easy to modify and customize to exactly what we've wanted and needed. A very big THANK YOU to the guys at Snitz for providing this software!! |

Just passed the 2000 post and 300 member mark. Forum software is performing well. Everynow and then a small hicup but that's probably because of one of the mods that I added and not the core software.
Quick question. When should I think about archiving? Does the forum start slowing down and then you know it's time to archive? Or should I keep an eye on the size of the DB?
Thanks again! |

you have some alignment problems, the entire site is like from 3/4ths of the screen on thw right and on adding a scrollbar to see it, you should fix that and it looks like a standard snitz forums with events calendar, even the colors are the same. |

YASF... and the ad at the bottom is large on 1280x1024, i can only imagine how big it is for people stuck on 800x600... |

There's a big line of Google ads on the left side, weewee. Are you blocking Adsense? |

Is because ads are blocked as suggested by MarkJH? Or something else? |

The ad at the bottom is in header 3 <h3> and looks okay for me. How would you suggest I change it? |

That's on my todo list. I want to put in graphics like others have done but know that it's a fair amount of work and haven't been able to set the time aside to do it yet. But I agree with you - it needs to be done. |

you can easily change the forums colours in the admin section (table/font colour config). as for the ad at the bottom maybe make it the same size as the forum text? I know it makes it less prominent it's just there's a fine line between prominent and eyesore. |

Thanks Jezmeister - good advice.
BTW - I really like your 2 signature lines. I completely agree with both of them. |

For those that are interested: I recently upgraded my site from MS Access DB to SQL Server DB and notice a HUGE speed improvement. |
