Hello. I just moved my company's forum to a Windows 2000 server. Before it was on an NT server. I have had NT authentication turned on, and working on the old server. Now when a new user tries to access the forum, they type username/password/domain and it just takes them back to the login box. Has anyone else had this problem? How can I fix it? Thanks.

Is it on an Active Directory? I seem to remember there being some issues with AD (and a solution floating around here...).

no AD, just an NT domain.

Don't know that I can help you yet.... I've been working towards NT authentication from the current DB login. From the searches that I've done, I've noticed that a large portion of the problems have been from ADS.

I can help search a little more, but I don't know of anything myself at this point in time. The AD question just kina seemed an appropriate one to start with.

I did think of one other difference in the 2 servers. The NT server was a BDC, the new 2000 server is not, it is just a member server. Could this be the problem?

It might... but I honestly don't know. I have found that a great deal of the discussions related to NT Authentication are archived. When you do your searches you'll definatly get better results if you check the "Archives" option.
