Subscription e-mails are generated in inc_subscription.asp, beginning on line 275, in the ProcessSubscriptions() sub.

It is highly recommended, by the way, that you upgrade to the latest version of Snitz to take advantage of its improved security and coding.

Thanks for that...

I am planning to look at the upgrade soon too!
Is it worth going straight to the V4b ?

You're welcome

I'd recommend v3.4.05 rather than v4b as the latter is a beta version based on older code which is really suitable for running in a live environment.

OK thanks - there doesn't seem to be a direct upgrade path from 3.3.03 to the latest though....

Can I simply upgrade directly to the latest version or do I have to do a staged upgrade?

I'll have a play on a backup version tomorrow but I'd appreciate any help you can give me.

Cheers...........

Long time since I upgraded a forum but, as far as I remember, when you run v3.4.05's setup.asp, there is an option that allows you to upgrade from a v3.3.x. Give it a whirl on your test forum first, though, to be sure. Be sure to take a fresh backup of your live files before upgrading your forum, just in case something goes astray. Also, please note that, if you had previously applied any Mods or otherwise edited the base Snitz code, you will have to redo these changes after upgrading.
