Hi all,

Just installed the one from snitzbitz.com

In the Admin Options, I have an option 'Private Message; Members Inbox' which links to 'admin_membersinbox.asp' but the file was not included with the ZIP.

Is it a typo?

Thanks,
Ivan

Some more findings...

I have set the limit to 50 messages and enabled private messages. Clicked on submit and downloaded the forum db. Opened the config_new table and the values were written correctly.

When I go back to the Private Messages maintenance page, the limit is 0 and pm enabled is off.

When I click on the PM link on my forum, there is written 'Your inbox limit is 20'.
I click on New PM button and there is written 'Your inbox limit is 50'
I send a message, and go back to my inbox. There is now written 'You have reached your private message limit of 0. To further... etc...', and I have no messages in my inbox!!

Can someone explain this?

Thanks,
Ivan

Did you check config.asp lines for Private Messages?

Admin settings not-saving problem is usually causing forgetting to add proper lines to config.asp
