use default.asp and fourm.asp to help figure out the formatting... it took a little trial and error to get it right.
As for the type mismatch, I must be missing something stupidly simple... post a text copy of subforums.asp and I'll compare your default.asp and subform.asp against mine and see if I can't figure this out. I don't think the problem is on default.asp
I know how that goes. Later this afternoon I'm planning on working on updating the subforums package with some updates I've made to fix some icon issues and post counts stuff.
