I cant get my stars to show up, why ??, even though i chose both ranking and stars, only rank shows up, if i only choose stars, none shows up ?? Why )=

You will only get the first star to show up when you have reached the number of posts for the Starting member, which you can change in the Admin Options. The default I think for the Starting Member is 50 posts. So no stars are gonna show up until you make at least 50 posts.
Correction:You will only get the first star to show up when you have reached the number of posts for the New member, which is Member Level 1.
You will not see any stars for a Starting Member.

Listen im the forum admin, and i know how to change the settings etc. Not even the stars for my managers or Admins show up. and i changed the default to 0 posts then thr should be a green star, but thr isnt, no matter if you got 10000 posts thr is no stars, thats the answer im looking for, or at least how to solve it, ty

hi, i've got exactly the same problem on my board, got it set in admin options as Stars and Rank but only Rank Appears, when changed to Stars Only nothing appears. so is there a problem in the board code , using SR4 on Access backend.

Gareth, I noticed the highest post count on your forum is 6. As I said before, you will not see any stars at 6 posts, if you have the default Stars settings in the Admin options.
If you want to make sure your stars are working, go into your Admin options, select Ranking Configuration and for the Member Level 1 change the number from 50 to 5. Make sure you have the Show Ranking set to Rank and Stars or Stars Only. And then tell me if you don't see the stars.

Still no stars, no matter what, this is not us having to small brains to figure this **** out, its simply not working, what it is i dunno, but a bug it is somehow.
All is set right, and no matter if you set all to "ZERO" still none shows up, and listen, an admin should have stars no matter how many posts he has made, and he also has none.

No, Admins adhere to the same Post requirements that Normal Users and Moderators do.
A person who is at the Starting Member level will never have a star. It's not until they have reached the Member Level 1 that they will receive a star.
Here are the defaults:
0 - Starting Member Level (this level will never receive a star)
50 - Member Level 1 (this level gets 1 star)
100 - Member Level 2 (this level gets 2 stars)
500 - Member Level 3 (this level gets 3 stars)
1000 - Member Level 4 (this level gets 4 stars)
2000 - Member Level 5 (this level gets 5 stars)

Ok, ty for the fast reply, i changed some of the default settings, to lower posts to get stars etc, isnt thr a way so i can make my admins have stars no matter how many posts they have made ??

well could that be changed Mods and Admins in other forum packages are given stars by default which is a good idea, can this be impletmented into a future copy of Snitz Forums ?
