Hi,
I just installed the latest version of active user on my multilanguage forum, which already had statistics implemented, now when entering the forum I get the statistics once below the active users field and once below the PM field at the bottom of the forum.
Another point is, that even though the language files are installed active user part does not change language at all, English all the time.

Ciao modifichicci,
well i inserted the lang files the way it is described in the readme... or do you mean something else?
I also just realized that the time for record of users is set to GMT instead of GMT +1 as set up in the admin section. |

You are using a multilanguage forum, and the language are memorized in as lang files as the language you have. The language of active user is stored in strLangMOD_Ls3kAU variables, that are in LangMOD_Ls3kAU_XXXX file You have to insert yge string of the LangMOD_Ls3kAU_XXXX file at the end of each LangXXXX file of your forum. If not you have the language of your LCID settings |

just found the double statistics, in fact as it was already implemented it was not that easy to find, as there was no double input but only part of an input was double.
so you mean that for example at the end of the lang1301.asp i insert <!--#INCLUDE FILE="LangMODS_Ls3kAU4_1031.asp" -->? |

But why did i have to include LangMODs_Ls3kAU.asp into config.asp and then unlock the LangMODs_Ls3kAU.xxxxs if the string are to be copied into the langfiles themselves?
can't follow at all... PLZ SEND ME A PICTURE... |

You have to choose one language file in LangMODS_Ls3kAU4.asp. The easiest thing to do is to remove all lines except the one you will use.
In LangMODS_Ls3kAU4.asp, put a ' infront of each line beneath 'select case strLangLCID, except the one line which has the language-file you want to use. When you have done that, it will display the language you want. |

There is only one way to config the mod without customizing it, and that is to set it to one language.
Does your multi-lingual forum use a similar method for languages as the AU-mod? If so, you could add the AU-lang file into the ones you are already using, and change the function used in all files to the function you are already using. It would require changes to all files which came with the AU-mod, as well as the parts added to existing files. There are no other ways that Im aware of. |
