I wanna say first of all that I'm not a coder.
I've downloaded the Snitz forum 200 v. 3.4.05 two days ago and installed it on my server.
First thing I did was change the graphic, then I search the avatar mod and downloaded it.
Then I follow the instruction in the ReadMe file, step to step.
I uploaded all the files into my forum directory on my server.
Went to admin panel > mod setup > avatar 1.3 and upgraded the database.
Then I deleted the dbs_avatar.asp files.
After that, i started to modify each file (config.asp, admin_home.asp, inc_profile.asp, register.asp and pop_profile.asp) until topic.asp.
I follow the instruction for Topic.asp until the last piece where the ReadMe says something like "if you have Snitz Forum v 3.4.01-3.4.02 do this, if you have 3.4.03 do this." I skipped this step 'cos I have the version 3.4.05 .
The I test the avatar mod in the forum and obviously everything was ok, exept for the topics. Pages where not visible.
So I opened again the topic.asp file, and folow the last step adding lines for version 3.4.03.
But topic still no work .
I put online the first, clean version of topic.asp and now you can see topics, but naturally avatars are not displayed.
I've searched on this forum and i found this topic. This guy seems to have my problem and he solved it.
I tried to follow the tips in this topic, but my file is stil not workin and i'm starting too feel stupid.
Can somebody help meh?
This is my forum (no registration required) and this in the non-workin topic.asp .
Thankyou, Stella

Telling us something "doesn't work" isn't going to help us much in helping you. If you tell us the exact error message you are receiving, we'll be able to provide you with better help.

I only get an IE error (error 500 - internal server error).

There is no error; you didn't actually add the avatars to topic.asp because of:
quote:
I skipped this step 'cos I have the version 3.4.05 .

And it dosen't tell you what to do if you are v.05.

Do you have any other mods installed? If not I can upload the topic.asp you need within the next 24 hours.

Ranko typed the link wrong; it should be http://www.krug-x.net/downloads/topic.asp but, as it's an ASP file, you won't be able to download it; Ranko needs to convert it to *.txt.

Thank you for all your effort, but it seem it doesn't work, anyways.
Is there the possibility that there is an error in other files?
I could upload the .txt's of the asp files if it's useful.
As I said before, I don't have the basic knowledge to program on my own the forum (*cries silently*).
