Is it possible to show the latest post on the front page of my website with a 'more details.....' link to that message in my forum?
How would I achieve such a task?

You'd just need to do a similar thing to the one done in default.asp, that shows the user who posted the last message.

I had a look at default.asp, and I can't see where the bit I need is.

In an unchanged default.asp it's located around line# 940-950.

Thanks Ruirib,
I found the bit of code, but to be honest, I haven't got a clue what to do with it. Is way beyond my level.

Well I don't do mods. You'd need some code from default.asp to get what you need. I'll move this to the Mod W/O code section, maybe someone will offer to help.

Try this: http://www.snitzbitz.com/mods/details.asp?Version=All&mid=195

It is the Syndicate Mod and allows you to place it on your front page as I have on www.vncommodore.com

Cheers,

David Greening

Yeah! Have the same implemented on my site. (www.myforum.dk)
The syndicate mod is really cool, and can be customized to your needs.

Brilliant - exactly what I was looking for.
Syndicate Mod was easy to install and use, and does what I want.
Thanks for this suggestion.
