I am trying to set up subscription so members can recieve an e-mail when they get a reply topic to their posts.

I understand I need to enable subscriptions on the forums, but in e-mail configuration it asks for an e-mail address and server address.

E-mail Server Configuration
Select E-mail Component: ASPEMail CDOSYS (IIS 5/5.1/6) JMail 3.x JMail 4.x
E-mail Mode: On: Off:
E-mail Server Address: <-------------What goes here?? server or Yahoo?
Administrator E-mail Address:<--- what goes here server mail"Do I need to contact my new server?
Require Unique E-mail: On: Off:

I have an e-mail address I use for OUTLOOK express with Bellsouth and it has a server address, or should I use the new servers e-mail?

Select E-mail Component: CDOSYS (IIS 5/5.1/6)
E-mail Server Address: Server e.g. mail.yourhost.com
Administrator E-mail Address: The reply to address goes here.

I suggest you use CDOSYS as it supports authentication if you need it.
If your host's email server requires a username and password before sending email its easy enough to add it to inc_mail.asp
