Is there a configuration when someone posts a message to another person, they get an e-mail telling them someone posted a message to them in the forum? Sort of like an alert by e-mail?
If you want your members to have the possibility to get notified of replies to certain topics, you'll have to enable Subscriptions. Read this topic for a how-to-setup.
