Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a005e'

Have you added any words to your bad word filter today? If so, try removing it and see if that solves the problem.

No nothing has been added at all. I cant even get to admin options, or any page for that matter. All i get is my logo, the name of the forum, and the home/profile/register etc etc line. Then the error underneath.

Not of much use without a test account.

If you've made any changes to inc_func_common.asp, a link to a *.txt copy of it may prove useful as well.

Test account, Username tester, password tester.

I have since copied the files to my inetpub folder on my local machine, and people can access it through the network, and everything works fine.

If it appeared without you making any changes and it runs OK locally, more tan likely your host has done something at their end. One thing you might try doing, although I doubt it will help, is run setup.asp.

Running setup.asp does not help. Download your database and check what is defined as badwords.

On the database it just has the original 5 words, none have been added or deleted.

What screen did you get when you tried my link, as a friend of mine just got the error message, where as i get my logo, the name of the forum, and the home/profile/register etc etc line. Then the error underneath.

Sorry for being a pain with this guys!!

I see no reason for what's happening... Can you rename the folder where you have your database and run setup.asp again?
