I found an old post there ruirib says it's possible to un-archive topics (and replies) with DTS.

Any chance I can get some hints how to do it. I tried to copy from A_Topics and into the forum topics and the same for replies but it didn't do it... I guess I missed something...

Any help would be great!

Doesn't this thread clearly explain it?
The particularly important parts are related to set the transform column, for each table selected, so that Append to Existing Rows and Enable Identity Insert are selected.

What did you do and what went wrong?

I followed the steps in the thread you linked to.

I have a forum with 10 pages of topics and 55 pages with archived topics. I did as you posted, first copying the topcis and then the replies but when I check the forum it's still 10 pages with topics (yes I selected to show all open topics)

Do I have to update something after the copying?

You'll probably want to delete the unarchived topics and replies from FORUM_A_TOPICS and FORUM_A_REPLY. Otherwise you may get duplicate topics and replies when you archive again.
