i just set up my own forum running the latest snitz version. everything works fine so far. however, i haven't found out yet how to post pictures. from other forums i know how to use [ img] and [ /img]. seems these codes are not implemented in the snitz software.

could anybody please help me ?

Use [ img ] *image URL* [ /img ]

That should do it.

Have you turned on the allow pictures in the Admin Options? Under Feature Configuration and then Images in Posts: must be turned on.
