I need to migrate over three years of data from a database for Snitz version 3.3.03 to a new database for version 3.4.05. There does not seem to be anything on the forum in this area.
I have already done the setup for the new install and made some code changes for continuity from the older install. This has all been accomplished on my development machine. I am now ready to migrate it all to the production host.
Is there any difference between the SQL/Server database for version 3.3.03 and the SQL/Server database for version 3.4.05?
If so, is there a script, stored procedure or upgrade process to handle the migration?
If there are no differences between the old and new database schemas - will a simple SQL/Server Backup/Restore work?
