Is there a way to include files in a posting? Our forum moderators create newsletters and flyers all the time, but do not have the ability to copy a file onto our web server and create a link. Our web administrators do not have the time to do this either. Any suggestions?

Try Mike's File Attachment MOD ... sounds very easy to install, and does the job you are after.

There are a couple of attachment mods out there, just search the Mod w/code forum here for "attachment" (subject only) or have a look over at SnitzBitz.

Search is your friend

What is the best mod of all ? I have tried Mike's and Proeder's mods and i have all kind of small problems, they seem they are not supported any more by the original authors.

I have seen a library mods, but seems huge. Any suggestions by experienced users of snitz ?

Thanks

I've only ever used Mike's one, but not as part of the forum; found it very easy to work with and customise to my needs.

Hi there.

I would like to have files attached to forums postings, but both mods i have found and tried, were not very good for what i need.

For example, is there any mod that "hides" the real path or filenames, so if you can't guess the links.

Does any mod like that exist ?

Thanks

Costas
