I'm pretty stuck here, it's probably because I've been staring at code all day long  .
I installed Davio's Poll Mod, everything went well with the install. The DB update had no errors, the admin page shows the poll config options, the nav header shows the active polls, but I can't find where to create any new polls.
I have read tons and tons of stuff here about the Poll Mod, and have checked and double checked all of the changes to my files, they all are correct. I ran setup.asp to reinitialize the variables, but nothing seems to work.
The readme makes it sound like there should be a link to create a new poll on either/both the forum.asp or the topic.asp, but the link does not show. 
I have triple checked the forum.asp and the topic.asp and as far as I can tell, they have been modded properly.

What else can I check?

| Did you enable Polls on the admin page and did you enable them for each subforum? |

Yep, Polls are enabled on the admin page, but how do I enable them for each subforum?

I haven't created any forums since I installed the Poll Mod. I just went and edited an existing forum, and sure enough, there was the Polls Permission. Man, that was killing me! After a day spent teaching First Aid & CPR to a bunch of Boy Scouts, I was just getting ready to uninstall this bad boy and try again.
Thanks Panhandler, I appreciate the suggestion. I can't believe it was that simple. This might be something to add in to the readme file...Creating Polls for Dummies  |
