Just went to the url and got this: Document not found. The page may no longer exist, or you may have typed the URL incorrectly. You can: - click the Back button to try another link - view our Site Index - return to the harchester.net home page Generally I would suggest that the page wasn't there for that error.. |

I had this type of thing a long time ago and I re-ran the dbs file for AU and it worked with the right browsers showing. Apart from that it could of been a bit of code in the active_users.asp file.
Send me an e-mail and I will send you a copy of my active_users.asp file if you like.

Which AU-mod are you using, the DB-based or the no DB-based one? If it is the first, Classicmotorcycling's advice is a good one, although you might have to check the config_new table for duplicate entries of the AU variables. Did the error just happen or did it appear directly after you added the AU-mod? |

I have ran the dbs file again but still no luck.
The thing is that this page used to work on my old server. But since I moved to a new server a couple of weeks ago, I have been getting the UNKNOWN error. So do you think that there is some incompatibility in the code with my new server? |

Its the database version (using mysql). As I just said... the error only occured when I switched to the new server. |

Ok, it seems likely then that the error occured because of the server-move. Im thinking that the easiest might be to drop the AU-table and create it anew. That should fix the problem if it lies in the DB. |

Is your DB located in the same folder where the main files are? If it is, try moving your DB to a different folder. If it is already on a different folder, I'm not sure what the problem is. |

I see. Never mind my solution though because it is funny! Yesterday I thought I had fixed it when I move the DB and it was working, but now...same problem again! What's going on? |

Ok, then that is ruled out. Have you done any changes to active_users.asp or the Sub ActiveUserTracker() in inc_func_common.asp? Try uploading those two files and see if it makes any difference? |

no... the script that im using now is exactly the same with no changes that I used on the old server which worked fine. I have tried re-installing active users again from scratch! and still no luck. I have covered all the basics here!!! The only thing I can think is that there is some sort of incompatibility with the code and somthing on the new server. |
