How do I go about creating additional forums besides thedefault testing one? I am beginning to think I have been staring at this too long today

When you are logged in as Admin (from the login form that is at the top right of your forum), there will be a column of icons along the right hand side.

The icon on the very top is for creating new Categories. If you hold your mouse cursor over each icon you will get a popup tooltip telling you what each icon does.

Hmmmm, Im logged in as admin but I don't see those icons.

I tried to add the new forum manually in the database but couldnt because of the relationships with the other tables.

It tells me that i've successfully logged in as the admin but I dont see the icons

Did you login at admin_home, or like you log in here where you see "You are logged on as Admin"? If you logged in at admin_home, that doesn't log you into the forums, just the admin screen...
