Can anyone tell me if a moderator can be notified by e-mail when a new post is registered and needs to be approved?
If this service is not provided (I have looked everywhere I think) is there any plans to have such a service implemented in the future?
If not, how is it possible to track all the new topics or answers to topics that need to be moderated? Do I have to go through 100 topics everytime I log on to check if there is a post inside?
Sorry for the nieve questions...a newbee. I suppose I have found the right thread.
Thanks if anyone can shed some light on this for me.

I don't use moderation for topics/replies, but I'm pretty sure that when a topic has unmoderated replies you will be able to tell from forum and/or active.asp (the icon will change). |

I just implemented the Snitz forums and from what I have found, there is not a way to do this. All my forums are moderated so I need this functionality too. What I am doing right now, and it is easy, is just login (never logout so the cookie will remember you). Then when the forums are displayed, you will see a +/- icon in the top right header line if there are new posts that need moderation. Click that and that's all the posts you need to approve.
I was going to start working on an email to the moderators whenever there was a new post and then I realized that I could set up subscriptions for the whole board and have the moderators subscribe to their particular forums. That way they would (should at least, I haven't tried it) get emails for every new post. I think I'm going to try that but so far it's just as easy enough for me when checking emails to just click my saved link to the forums and see if that +/- icon is there, rather than get a bunch of emails I have to wade through. |

I don't understand why you would need email notification of posts to moderate... It's easier for a moderator to just look at the forum or active topics pages than to have to sort through tons of emails about posts to moderate. |
