Hi.
I run this site: http://www.securitum.com and I want the news forum that I have, to be either invisible to other members and guests, or somehow locked down for new posts, and only allow replies.
Would it be possible to make it so only and Administrator / Moderator can post a NEW topic in the forum, and then members can reply to the topic? (Making a newsentry on the firstpage, where people can comment) |

Since I send to HuwR a donation of $200 on December 22, 2006
this guy HuwR has never stop to pick on every thing I post on the Snitz Forum. |

Done something similar on my site - In the category settings, set "Allow moderation in this Category" and set moderation on the news forum to "Original Posts only moderated".
Your members will only be able to reply, but all new topics from members other than admin or moderator of the forum will require approval (which I automatically reject in my case.).
