What is the difference between these two? Seems to be the same thing.

Members Only: This allows only registered members to access the forum. Unregistered members are not allowed access.

Members Only (Hidden): This allows only registered members to access the forum. The forum will be hidden to unregistered members and they are not allowed access.

The names describe the difference. In the 2nd case, non members can't even get to see the forum, while on the 1st case, they can see it but not access it.

What is a non-member then, is this an un-registered guest? hmm if so that means this would not even apply if I had "force registration ON" ?

Who is a member then? Someone who is registered and logged in. That pretty much defines non members, right?

The option to allow access only to registered members would, in fact, make each of the above choices to have no practical effect whatsoever.
